PLAR Assessment: Exam Challenge and/or Portfolio Challenge Notes:
1.Prior learning must be measurable at the college level and meet Conestoga's standards of achievement for current courses.
2.PLAR is not available for registered Conestoga students to obtain credits for Conestoga College courses that they have failed.
3.PLAR is not available for current students to upgrade marks for completed Conestoga College courses.
4.Only ONE attempt per course is allowed through PLAR. Successful completion of a PLAR assessment results in a credit on a Conestoga College transcript. A failed attempt would require the student to take the course.
5.Once the candidate has registered for the challenge and receives the confirmation of assessment, the candidate is bound to complete the challenge. Failure to do so will result in a grade of zero (fail) mark.

All fees are non-refundable. Fees: $142.00 per assessment with some exceptions, call (519)-748-5220, ext. 3465 if you have questions regarding the exact rate.
